Customer relationship managers strive to help a company retain current customers by analyzing and meeting each customer's unique needs. They act as a reliable and loyal advisor to the business challenges faced by customers by identifying competitive threats and recommending useful strategies to help clients achieve their business goals. Helping a customer or company develop an improvement framework is an important role for the account manager. For example, the accountant identifies key processes for achieving successful results and documents an action plan.
